Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has confirmed on Twitter that saves from the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft will be able to be transferred to the Xbox One version of the game.

It was previously rumoured that this capability would be in the next-gen versions, but had not been confirmed until now. How this process will work was not confirmed, but Spencer stated that there will be more news soon. There is still no release date for the Xbox One version of Minecraft, but hopefully we will hear about that soon as well.
