I think I know why this comic isn’t doing it for you:Because Jeff Lemire wrote it, and he’s not as good as everyone claims.
No, it’s the colour palette for me. For an urban fantasy title, the bright and flashy colours are completely throwing me off. I know it’s in a super hero universe now, but even Animal Man knows better than to make all the magic glow like crazy.
